Doing Business the World Bank way will only make you poorer. Not if you are a corporation.

“The World Bank’s true goal is money, power and deregulation,” said Lee Camp on the latest episode of his show Redacted Tonight. We couldn’t agree more with him.

The Doing Business rankings make countries compete to help corporations get rich. It’s beyond ridiculous and is doing nothing to ‘reduce’ poverty.

On the contrary the World Bank’s rankings are doing everything to ensure that a few prosperous corporations continue to thrive and amass wealth and control over the world.

Next week, on October 10, the World Bank will be discussing its future plan at its Annual General Meeting in Washington DC. At the same time we will be out in the streets not just in DC but all over the world, protesting, talking, demanding the end of the Bank’s doing business ranking.
